About

Yvette Oortwijn
I am a Research Assistant at the Institute for Logic, Language and Computation at the University of Amsterdam, in the Concepts in Motion group led by Arianna Betti. In this project we address questions concerning concept change as philosophers, working together with computer scientists, computational linguists, information specialists, and other humanities scholars.

I completed my bachelor degree in Philosophy at the University of Amsterdam in 2017 and my master degree in Logic at the University of Amsterdam as well in 2019. My thesis, Dynamic Set Theory, in the Master of Logic concerned the philosophy of set theory.

My main research interests lie in philosophy of mathematics, history of philosophy, methodology in philosophy, digital humanities, philosophy of language, metaphysics and formal and philosophical logic. In addition to this, I am currently learning to program in Python.
